Xiaomi’s Mi A1 is still a phone to beat when it comes to camera performance. Naturally, its successor, the Mi A2 finds the top spot on this list. The Mi A2 comes combines a 16MP and 20MP sensor for the rear camera. The extra sensor no longer has 2X optical zoom (telephoto lens) but Xiaomi claims that it will help improve the lowlight photography.

On the front, the Mi A2 has a 20MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The Xiaomi Mi A2 has a lot more working in its favor including the stock Android Software, capable Snapdragon 660 chipset, and a 6-inch 18:9 display.
2. Redmi Note 5 Pro
Xiaomi markets Redmi Note 5 Pro as India’s camera beast. The phone has a 12MP rear camera paired with a 5MP depth sensor to back its portrait mode. Xiaomi has improved its portrait mode algorithms and also the Beautify mode that works for both front and rear cameras.

On the front, the phone has a 20MP selfie camera that should make it captivating for selfie enthusiasts. Other than the impressive camera hardware, the Redmi Note 5 Pro also benefits from a very efficient Snapdragon 636 mobile platform paired with 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM.
3. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1
Asus recently launched the Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB RAM variant in India. The new handset comes with upgraded dual rear cameras where the second sensor is used for depth sensing.

This is the first stock Android phone from Asus, one that’s powered by Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor paired with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Other notable highlights include dual SIM dual VoLTE support, 16MP selfie camera, and a massive 5000mAh battery.
4. Samsung Galaxy On8
Samsung Galaxy On8 is the online version of Galaxy J8. The handset comes with 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and can shoot reasonably good portrait shots in the ‘Live Focus’ mode.

The handset is powered by Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Other features include 3500mAh battery, Android 8.0 Oreo, and a 6-inch AMOLED display.
5. Huawei Nova 3i
Huawei Nova 3i (Review) has a 6.3-inch (1080 x 2340) display and is powered by the new Kirin 710 octa-core processor.

The handset has dual cameras on both front and rear. The 16MP rear camera and the 24MP front camera are each accompanied by 2MP depth sensors for adding bokeh effect. The Nova 3I further includes an elegant glass-finish body, Android 8.1 Oreo-based software and a 3340mAh battery.
6. Honor Play
Honor Play is another phone from the Chinese brand that makes the cut based on its camera performance. The USP of Honor Play cameras is its independent AI NPU, that identifies scenes from 22 different categories with 500 more scenarios in real-time.

Since the cameras are AI driven, they recognize and retouches the dull parts of the image in the real time. Of course, if you are not a fan on Camera AI you can always restore the image to original form.
As for the specs, the Honor Play packs a dual camera set of 16MP + 2MP on the rear and a 16MP selfie shooter on the front.
7. Huawei Honor 9N
Huawei Honor 9N has a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by octa-core Kirin 659 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage.

Honor 9N highlights include a good looking glass body, 19:9 display panel, 3000mAh battery, 13MP+2MP rear camera and a 16MP selfie camera.
8. Vivo V9
Vivo V9 (Review) is a popular mid-range notch-display phone, one that comes with a decent pair of dual rear cameras. On the rear, you will find a combination of 16MP (F/2.0 aperture) primary and 5MP (F/2.4 Aperture) secondary sensor, and on the front, there is a single 24MP selfie camera.

The handset is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 626 paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The handset runs the latest Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS, and is now available for less than 20K.
9. Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus
Both the Moto G6 Plus and the Moto G6 feature a 12MP + 5MP rear camera combo, where the extra 5MP shooter is used for depth sensing. The Moto G6 Plus is the pricier model that features a more powerful chipset, a slightly bigger screen, and more battery capacity.

10. Xiaomi’s Redmi Y2
Xiaomi’s Redmi Y2 (Quick Review) is essentially a selfie phone, but it also offers workable dual rear cameras at an affordable price.

The handset has a neat design, includes a 12MP + 5MP rear camera combination, an 18:9 display and runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9 software. The chipset powering the phone is Snapdragon 625 and, depending on the variant you choose, RAM and Storage could go up to 4GB and 64GB, respectively.
