A chronicled look at the criminal exploits of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, as well as the many other drug kingpins who plagued the country through the years is an exquisite series and a marvelous piece of cinematography. Pedro Pascal playing the lead character Javier Peña in the series was your favorite character 'Oberyn' in Game of Thrones who in such fashion got his skull and eyes smashed by the hands of Ser Gregor Clegane. 7. Lost in Space
IMBD Rating: 7.3/10
Genre: Science fiction,drama
Lost in Space takes place in the not too distant future of 2048, after a meteor crashes into earth and signals the end of humanity. A few lucky families are chosen to go into space and begin setting up a new world.Netflix has put a lot of money into Lost in Space and so it’s reasonable to assume that they will invest in a second 10-episode season as well. We really enjoy watching as the family, who are dealing with a lot of personal family drama, finds a way to stick together to survive
8. THE CROWN
For centuries, we Indians had such a lovely relationship with Colonial England and the royal family (please note the sarcasm). So, what's better than to watch the glorifying facts and details of the life of the longest reigning ruler, Queen Elizabeth. The very first scene of the series talks about Lord Mountbatten giving up on India (Hooray!) which does give the whole thing a personal touch. The crown follows the political rivalries and romance of Queen Elizabeth II's reign and the events that shaped the second half of the 20th century. 2 seasons down, the series awaits its 3rd season in 2018. If you are a history fan, you are going to love it.
